Collaborative product design and development for client and Japanese fashion brand. Translated character design into production-ready cyberpunk jacket and lab card case, managing design vision, fabric selection, cost optimization, and promotional graphics from sketch to retail.

Translating a beloved fictional character design into functional, wearable fashion required balancing artistic integrity with manufacturing realities. Working directly with content creator client and Japanese fashion brand Favorite Onepi, I developed the cyberpunk jacket from initial sketches through final production; a design homage that captures the character’s signature aesthetic while remaining accessible to fans.
The process prioritized thoughtful compromise through collaboration: selecting fabrics and construction techniques that preserved design detail without inflating costs, ensuring the final piece honored what fans love about the original design. Every element, from pocket placement to fabric finish, was considered for both visual impact and practical wearability.
Complementing the jacket, a matching lab-themed card case extends the character universe into everyday utility. Promotional graphics were designed to communicate the collaborative vision across social platforms, positioning the collection as limited-edition, fan-created merchandise that bridges character and reality.
The result: a cyberpunk collaboration that feels authentic to its source material while existing as a fully realized, affordable product.
